Ashbourne Road District Allotment Association Ltd (ARDAA) collect information in the course of Members joining the Association. The accuracy of the data is dependent on the information supplied by the Member when joining or renewing membership. This includes the following:

  • Name

  • Postal address

  • Contact details, landline number, mobile number and email address

ARDAA does not disclose private data to third parties, unless specifically appointed by ARDAA under a contract to fulfil the requirements of the membership package or a specific initiative the individual has signed up to.

This will enable ARDAA to supply the benefits of membership, or to contact you directly, with membership information, using the contact details provided to us on joining or renewing your membership. We may at times contact you directly concerning developments within ARDAA and will also offer you the opportunity to opt into initiatives if you so wish. This may be done by Committee Members and Members who have been given delegated authority by the Committee.

ARDAA will keep your data until it is updated, or until you are no longer a Member.

Your information is kept physically and electronically secure. This information will be kept in this format as long as you are a Member. We undertake a secure destruction process with shredding for hard copies of membership information.

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact the Secretary on 01332 485018 and we will investigate the matter.
